Unhinged Productions wanted a more modern and minimalist logo for their growing international production business. I was more than happy to oblige. We had a style in mind from the start so I tried a few variants along these lines and discussed it with the client. We agreed it made sense to avoid the usual cliche film clipper board and camera lenses so this left a lot of room to be quite creative. A lot of production company logos seem to have quite a calm and natural feel about them so the U at an angle, reflected in the water fitted into this style quite well. I’d seen reflections used in a handful of logos before so wanted to see if I could get a similarly classy effect.

It turned into a tight deadline but Matt and James at Unhinged Productions were very happy with result and continue to make waves in the production industry.
